1. Domestic degree certificates conferred after Sep. 2008 and registered in the Submission of Academic Degree Information system can be inquired and applied for the online verification report on CHSI website (Students can apply for the Online Verification Report of China Higher Education Degree Certificate without any charge). The applications of this kind of certificates will not be accepted and paper reports will not be issued.

2. New graduate with a degree can inquire the degree certificate online and apply for the online verification report only after the degree certificate has been registered in the Submission of Academic Degree Information system. This kind of application will not be accepted and paper reports will not be issued.

3. Bachelor, master and doctor degree certificates conferred by domestic institution of higher education and research institutes before Sep. 2008 and degree certificates conferred by military educational institutions which are not registered in the Submission of Academic Degree Information system can be applied for the paper reports (Verification Report of China Higher Education Degree Certificate) online without any charge.

4. If the contents on the degree certificate are inconsistent with the Submission of Academic Degree Information system, please ask the institution that awards degrees (higher education institutions, research institutes) to correct the errors first, and then apply for the verification reports.

5. Domestic degree certificates can be applied for the verification only once. Paper reports can be issued only once. Repeated applications will not be accepted. Applicants can download electronic reports if paper reports are lost or more reports are needed.

6. Effective immediately, applications of English-version verification report of domestic degree certificate are not accepted. If there is a need, applicants can log onto the CHSI Archive and apply for the translated copy.
