Wang Libing, Director a.i., Chief of EISD, UNESCO Multisectoral Regional Office in Bangkok, led a delegation to visit Center for Student Services and Development, Ministry of Education, P.R. China (CSSD) on August 18. Liu Yuguang, Director-General of CSSD, met with the delegation and introduced the basic information of CSSD, as well as CSSD’s development of digital services for students’ information, international cooperation and exchange, and the promotion of mutual recognition of higher education qualifications.

Wang, in turn, fully affirmed the success of CSSD in cooperating with the National Commission for UNESCO in holding the Fourth Session of the Committee of the Asia-Pacific Regional Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education (2011 Tokyo Convention) last year, highly lauded CSSD for its achievements in students’ information digitization. He hoped that CSSD would participate in more UNESCO related activities, especially strengthen international exchange in the field of students’ information digitization, and contribute China’s experience and solutions in this field.

Before the meeting, the delegation visited the CSSD Informatization and Centenary Diploma Exhibition.
